While playing the game you have several ways to play a certain hand differently. While playing blackjack you can choose to double you initial bet. As a result only one card is given. This is a way to play when you have the value of 11 and the dealer has e.g. a 5. But on certain moments you can split your cards as well. This can be done when you have a pair. The opportunity to split or double in a certain hand makes Blackjack a fun game to play.
